Trevin Smith is a documentary filmmaker based in New York City. His work focuses on character driven, deeply reported storytelling.

Having cooked for 10 years in Italian kitchens, Trevin now utilizes the lessons he learned under the many chefs he cooked for in the stories he tells. He graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 2020. He is currently a Producer/Editor at VERIFY, where he produces daily video content that fact-checks misinformation spread online.
